Edgar Martinez, Griffey set records
SEATTLE -- Edgar Martinez and the Seattle Mariners made sure the Kingdome will rock for at least one more game.  Martinez hit a tiebreaking grand slam in the eighth inning and drove in seven runs -- the most ever in a postseason game -- to lead the Mariners past the New York Yankees 11-8 Saturday Night, sending their riveting A.L. playoff series to a decisive Game 5.  "I'm just trying to hide my emotions right now," the calm appearing Martinez said.  "But I'm very excited for myself and for my team.  And I'm excited because we get a chance to play tomorrow."  Martinez, the A.L. batting champion, homered twice.  Ken Griffey Jr. set an AL playoff record with his fourth home run and Jay Buhner also connected for the Mariners, who rallied from an early five-run deficit before 57,180 cheering and chanting fans.  "When I was a kid, I dreamed of being the hero in a game like this," Martinez said.  "This feels great."  David Cone, who won the series opener for the Yankees, will face Andy Benes, who got a no-decision in the second game, in Game 5 Sunday night.  With the three other playoff series already decided, it will be the first postseason game this October televised to the entire nation.  The Mariners staved off elimination for the third time this week, but they had to escape a bases loaded jam in the ninth.  New York scored twice, one on an RBI force out by Wade Boggs, before Bernie Williams flied out to Griffey on the warning track in center with runners on second and third to end the game.  "I held my breath on that last ball hit," Mariners manager Lou Piniella said.  Edgar Martinez 7-RBI are the most ever in 690 postseason games -- Bobby Richardson had six in the 1960 World Series and Will Clark had six in 1989 N.L. playoffs.  Edgar's slam to dead centerfield left the Seattle designated hitter with .600 average in the postseason.
